Although we attempt to cover all areas of need, we cannot list all agencies serving this area. If you have specific needs which are not covered by this directory, please contact 2-1-1 Colorado (dial 2-1-1), a statewide information and referral service, to access health and human services. The Sheriff’s Department is made up of Detention, Law Enforcement and Support Services. The Detention Bureau operates the county detention facilities and maintains a safe, secure environment at the Criminal Justice Center (CJC) and the Metro Work Release Facility (MWRF) for those incarcerated. The Law Enforcement Bureau is made up of Emergency Services, Investigations and Patrol, which help preserve the peace, carry out rules and laws, and share fire warden and search and rescue responsibilities. The Support Services Bureau provides public safety support through manpower, fiscal and material resources.

Provides intensive case management, and short-term and transitional housing to homeless and low-income families with children. Assists with life skills, helps attain and keep employment, teaches families how to budget, and assigns families a community advocate who works with them while in the program and after they graduate for up to six months. Also offers a Family Day Center on free bus shuttle route that provides space to shower/ bathe, wash laundry, prepare formula and food for infants and children, and make and receive phone calls. Enrichment Center has computers and a library to help children with school work. Families stay at host churches from 5 p.m. – 7 a.m. Three meals provided during time of stay.
