TRANSITIONAL HOUSING IN ORANGE COUNTY

Transitional housing provides housing between six and twenty‐four months with the goal of assisting individuals to gain personal growth, self‐sufficiency and financial stability

Parenting Program: for women who choose to parent their baby Transition Program: an extended program for women after the birth of their baby at Casa Teresa Adoption Program: for women who choose to place their baby for adoption Admission requirements:
 Females, 18 years of age or older  Drug and alcohol free for the previous six months. Prospective residents must also agree to remain so for the duration of their stay.
 Documentation of a negative TB test
 Proof of pregnancy
 No other children may be currently residing with prospective resident  Upon admission, residents must obtain employment, enroll in school or actively volunteer in the community

Joseph House (Santa Ana, CA):  Transitional shelter for 20 homeless single men. This includes men 21 years and over and veterans.
Regina House (Santa Ana, CA): Transitional shelter for 7 homeless mothers and their children.
Emmanuel House (Santa Ana, CA): Transitional shelter for 21 homeless single adults living with HIV/AIDS.
Assisi House (Ontario, CA): Transitional shelter for 8 single men, 8 single women, 6 mothers, and their children.
Admission requirements:
 Homeless
 Drug free and sober
 Employed, readily employable, or going to school
 Specific requirements may vary by program

a six‐bed transitional living program

 Drug free and sober. Prospective clients must also agree to remain so for the duration of their stay.
 Proof of pregnancy with due date
 Allowed to live free for first 30 days while seeking employment, enrolling in school, or completing job training

within 3 Northern Orange County cities (Anaheim, Garden Grove and Santa Ana).

 Proof of veteran status

 Come into office Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00pm
 Interview with case manager
 TB test
 Drug test
 Random drug tests during time as a resident
 Drug free and sober. Prospective clients must also agree to remain so for the duration of their stay.
