Services for the Anchored Out
The Richardson Bay Anchorage Community: In addition to what the anchorage association works to provide for people who choose to live in the anchorage, if and when they need it, there are many other services available to the community provided by non-governmental (NGO) and city, county, state and federal agencies.
Transitional services for homeless adults
Because affordable housing is in short supply, Homeward Bound of Marin provides extended options for adults in transition. While at these sites, men and women continue to receive support services that may include counseling, job training and job retention support, along with credit repair or money management classes.
Women Helping All People
A non-profit organization dedicated to providing low-income and underprivileged residents of Marin County with information, resources, support services, and educational opportunities that help individuals acquire job skills, develop self esteem, reach economic self-sufficiency, and help promote and develop a sense of community.
